As we know, PostgreSQL or Postgres is a powerful object relational database management system and it is available for many operating system.
There is a web based administration interface for Postgres written in PHP called PhpPgAdmin
Once you have successfully installed phpPgadmin in your system, You will need to configure the setting to have a non-root user to login but if you don't then you will get following error while login with root user :
Login disallowed for security reasons.
To resolve above issue, You will need to edit the phppgadmin config file from following directory /etc/phppgadmin/config.inc.php.
Now modify the line $conf[‘extra_login_security’] = true;
to $conf[‘extra_login_security’] = false;
